The Jana Nyberg Group consists of: Jana Nyberg- vocals/flute, Adam Meckler- trumpet/flugel horn/vocals, Evan Montgomery - guitar/vocals, Matt Peterson- bass/vocals, and various drummers including, Greg Schutte, Zach Schmidt and Andres Crovetti. Their debut CD features Mark Urness on bass, and their latest release, "Fever," features Derek Dreier on drums.

The Jana Nyberg Group / short bio

Since moving back to the Twin Cities in 2008, Jana has become a force in the jazz scene. With an appearance on season 10 of American Idol, and the release of her second full-length album Fever, Jana is moving forward in a full head of steam. Known for her unique blend of jazz and pop music, she is a sought after performer and recording artist. On stage, she brings a vibrancy and passion that is infectious and ignites her audiences. With two records to date and a third set for release in Winter of 2013, she shows no signs of slowing down.
